Mini-Money Sites Update
Time for another update. Despite changing up my research tactics a little, my talent still lies in throwing up MMS that garner low impressions and low clickthroughs. I’m now running my niches through various keyword tools, and not using a term for MMS unless the searches are decent.
Which sounds good, but here’s what’s happening to me now. I’ve put up five more MMS since my last post (for a total of 28, but only 16 live - I haven’t paused any more, more on that later). Four out of these five MMS show the following: QS Great; minimum bid .06, my bid .12. HOWEVER, despite all of these nice looking rows all lined up on my Adwords screen, I’m getting barely any impressions, and of course, no clickthroughs. When I hover over my keywords, it tells me that my QS is great but no, no ads are currently showing for this keyword because my bid is too low to matter.
So the good news is that I’m not spending a ton, the neutral news is that my profit has dropped - I haven’t been that good about keeping track because it is very nickel-and-dime but I think I’ve now made to date around $4.00 and change. I have one niche that’s a borderline keeper, and two new niches that have high-ish impressions and CTRs hovering around 1.1 %, which for me is high; but I’m still waiting for sales with these ones.
And finally, there’s one bit of good news. I had been unable to blast one of my very first niches because of trademark restrictions. I made this niche “live” last month, and it’s made two registrations and one sale so far.
