After throwing up quite a few MMS sites, I’ve more or less discovered that I focus too much on one overall niche area (electronics) and not enough on other niches.

So, to rectify that, I’ve been working on a Niche Category spreadsheet. Basically, I just use broad categories as my column headers (like Fitness, Sports, Children, etc) and then I brainstorm niches directly into the categories. I then check eBay to see whether a specific niche has a lot of auctions, and if yes, I schedule that for blasting as an MMS.

Since my online marketing approach is “waste not want not”, any niches that don’t show a lot of auctions still get used on a handful of my eBay shopping sites.

I don’t know if this will work, but at least it’s getting me out of the “electronics” rut!
